our very first photoshoot

here comes the moment that we have been waiting for.
it all started when muhd saw this advertisement about chantique bridal gallery having this
event to showcase their new collections, at the same time having the couple of the year 2009.
he led sizzy to be involved in this event and sizzy in turn convinced us into this.
i was hesitant at first cause i have never taken part in this kind of thing due to stage fright and
whatsnot. furthermore, i thought babyku was not into this kind of thing what with his work
schedule. surprisingly, without any second thoughts, he agreed on it, going all excited after i told
him about this. LOL. with such positive response, i followed suit as well. just to have fun, building on our relationship more closer and the experience whilst dreaming of our own big day. haha.
most importantly, i want this to be a memorable event of our lives where we will look back in our
60s (insyallah if God permits us a long life together) and just laugh about it with our children and
grandchildren. just typing this line alone made me grin to myself. hah, how silly!
this is also an opportunity for us make new friends along the way. all the contestants are so bubby, gorgeous and outgoing. the guys especially were so crazy with their silly antics during photoshoot. at least this will reduce our nervousness. you cannot imagine how nervous we were when there were so many pairs of eyes looking at each couple while taking our photoshoot lah.
12 finalists in all. i can even feel the trembles when i smiled. *_* scary ok!
eventually, i truly hope we will have more bonding session again the next month that we're going
to meet since we didn't have the chance to mingle with all when we were divided into different
groups and different slots. =)
now the problem is i might or in fact most prolly will embarass myself in public while catwalking
in high heels (think: 4-inch and above). as much as i love shoes, high heels is not my bestfriend
lah. how i wish i could just be the guy and walk in capal eh? i can even run with that. ;)

married couple have for joining this. so sweet! whats more having the resposibility to bring their
adorable baby as well for the photoshoot. what a patient and great parents they are! salute them. =)
do tell me if you wanna come as i can book tickets for you. we've been told by abg zul, the boss of
chantique bridal gallery that those with tickets will receive souveniors. fear not for those who
wants to come but the tickets are not enough to be given out. you can still come but without
getting the souveniors, that's all.
i have told my close friends about it before and i couldn't thank you enough for the support that they got the wrong idea that we are getting hitched. haha, sorry AGs for spoiling the excitement
aye! chill ok. haha. and i truly appreciate our oldtime friends from pri and sec for their support.
didn't know they had multiply and eventually know about this event even before us. thank you
so much again! now this calls for keeping my old contacts and reunion. but then again, it's hard
now to make everyone gather since most of them have their own commitments. =( another time
perhaps, anuar. also, thank you lovely sue for your vote without us knowing! hugs!

and dear sizzy and muhd, with this event that we're taking part together, we get to spend time
together more often now. i get to see sizzy! yeah! more seafood? haha. no sizzy, you have allergy!

reminisce the past

just the other day we had a random outing where i accompanied the boy to his usual bike shop
to get his DRZ a change of tyre which he was supposed to do just that long time ago but he was
just being a true procrastinator. thankfully (or he was just plain lucky all the time!), he always
manage to escape from the white uniform man in big white bike whenever he's on the road.
an impromptu visit to the old CCK park next to have our lunch and to just bring back the good
old memories of us with the friends. the nostalgia of our secondary sch kental days. lol!
the fried rice sambal was a tad too oily but i definitely love it to have more. spicy yum!
i couldn't wait to just go off (even though i finished last) and have a walk at the park what with images of the past flashing through my mind with every steps we make. but this boy just wanted
to make sure his food were digested and have his round of polluting the air. tsk. environment
killer! oh! self killer too!
and so, we took a stroll to the shelter where we used to have a burpday surprise for our his old
childhood bestfriend forever (haha!) planned by his former girlfriend.
his close friend too. (kan baby kan?)
as im typing this, i decided to rummage through my treasure chest (chet!) to get my hands on
those oldie photos of that particular celebration.
a drastic change for some of us while others were pretty much the same old them. =)
with this, it was so unbelievable of us (anuar, kinky and myself) to think of a gathering early
next year. we did not even think if this was possible enough to materialize this impromptu plan.
our concern was the difficulty to get everyone together on a day. and it was truly nice though to
have anuar being so spot on for this gathering. =) and so, we'll see how it goes.
in the meantime, i'll just leave you with these pictures.

don't ask why our school skirt was that long. you never knew how our school's discipline was like. -_-
that 2001 was not bad at all. we upgraded our wildness abit. you can never imagine how long
our skirts were when we first entered secondary school. like three-quarter skirt wokay!
but i think that's a good thing so we won't go too wild. hahahaha.....
