friends forever

july 11th saw my MUA babes and i preparing a surprise baby shower for our dearest Aidah who
will be going to embrace a new status as a mum in Aug. =) amist the busy schedule that
everyone was drowning with, we managed to come up with a simple affair at Link Boutique Hotel. i
did not even know it existed. a unique hotel it was, what with different style of rooms made in
accordance to the culture in our country. definitely a comeback for other future celebrations. =)
this little private affair would never happen if not for Ros who never say die in getting everyone
to be present on that common day for all of us. thankfully, all could make it in one piece except
that we were not able to meet Syah who had NDP Preview with the kids that day. she only came
late at night when Mai and i made our way home already.
it was all so well planned and executed. just like the old days back then in NYP MUA. events
after events and we all make it through despite hiccups here and there. hugs to everyone! =)
and then it was a meetup with the Slackers Inc the previous day. as usual, we couldnt get the full
strength. nonetheless, we truly enjoyed this small company reminiscing the good ol' days, us
being the most slackest accountants-to-be of NYP. lol! all we did was wandering around the
campus, doing last minute assignments and presentations in comp lab till late. and that too we
got distracted by friendster (so popular back then), blogs and online games. our favourite place
was the canteen and MacD, simply because we love to eat while gossiping. hhaha.

bah! i was late! nyehnyeh...
yuen chieh was totally mad at me. yag and yag non-stop. like real!
liu ying's daughter was the most lovable and considerate daughter ever!
meet irwan, julizza's boyfriend whom she always had a drama moments to tell to all of us back in school without fail. lol.
and they were so nice to buy for us a box of donuts to fill our empty stomach. =)
fast forward. im just so lazy to type the details.
we had the promotional package. money savers indeed!

1. irwan looked oh so calm with the parrot.

they looked so alike! even the specs were in similar design!
after fort siloso, we surrendered. but not surrender into that chambers!
it's scary ok, looking at how those POWs were prisoned into those dark cells. =(
i never knew fig&olive is halal. useless me!
amazingly, i finished my hearty meal ok. for it was so delicious!
the fries were so juicy that i want more of it. yum!
we were all so full yet they claimed that they wanted desserts.
but they tricked me.
kelvin actually went over to the waiter, not to order, but to ask him to bring out the cake and sing a birthday song for me.
how nice!
actually, i was shocked with the number of candles lighted on the cake. LOL.
t.w.e.n.t.y.t.w.o, dear brother kelvin. haha.

and the cake was a little over frozen that it was so hard for me to cut it.
thank you! thank you! now, i have a good reason to shop. haha.
