stand up for singapore!

while some were happily choosing this date to get married, proposed and whatsnot,
the teachers and students were singing their hearts loud to our national day songs. =)
if only i could be part of the celebrations again as a student myself, how great!
i used to sing oh so loud and confidently to almost all the national day songs with much patriotism wokay!
what with your friends and teachers to sing along together with you, all the more you feel so patriotic!
got to wave my mini Singapore flag with little colourful sweets inside some more!

and i remembered the time when i was in primary 5, we were given the privilige
to catch NDP at the used-to-be National Stadium.
can do Kallang wave some more! all so united and belong. =)
the little one was excited too when it comes to celebrations like this.
you never knew how kanchiong she was for not having red-white clothing just for her school's celebrations earlier on.
together with the sister and i, all three of us had to scout for it at Lot1 yesterday.
semangat rakyat singapura betul!
anyway, since it was a half school day, the ex-colleagues decided to take this time off
to celebrate Liu Ying's burpday!
myohmy! you can practically see red and white everywhere. but it was just so nice to see that!
however, being in a teaching school near your crib, you simply get to bump into your students.
(im still trying to adapt to that)
yikes! the advise is, be at your best behaviour and hang out far away from your area. LOL.
but then again, the truth is we can never run or hide.
everytime we meet, we just find the need to fill each other in with every juicy news of ours.
nandini was so relieved and glad that she went for the crossover already.
on the contrary, she was a lone ranger in that ulu school of ours. at that side of island. LOL.
with the new students coming in, she saw herself in them when she just entered year 1.
so enthusiastic and hapcited for the first day in school, writing every details of what the lecturer said.
the rest of us could not help it but to laugh over her silly, funny, real imitation of the
whole series of events that had taken place in her life. haha.
well, the rest of them were slowly attacked by the common fever, cough and flu disease.
at this hectic period, they were busy catching up with the syllabus and revision for the coming
CA2, including all the markings and admin matters that need to be done quick.
especially with celebrations like this. staying back after school for rehearsals and decorations.
that much can occupy most of our leisure time already! phew!
nonetheless, they were still as crazy as ever. =)

afterwhich, i went straight for tuition. thankfully, Julizza got to accompany me till Bugis.
call me crazy or what, my fridays tuition is at the East side. shoot me!
tell me, just what am i supposed to do with the plea of a mother for her son?
at this point of time anyway, i cannot wait for tomorrow's out!

the SAPS Gang went into a conspiracy yet again. =)
emails after emails, just for this burpday gal.
all except me decided not to wish her on that day to make her feel worse.
and she sure did. her boyfriend let the cat out of the bag - she complained and whined how WE
never care about her anymore.
oh just look at how surprised she was. great minds think alike.
she definitely needs a wallet. =)
oh please just let me slap her for once.
for she embarrassed us at the restaurant. hilarious!
i booked the place at Breeks Harbourfront at 730pm.
but heck, the surprise can only be done at 830pm.
why? ahem! let's all point to Nandini.
nonetheless, the chat in between sure filled us in.
oh work. oh kids. oh crisis. oh life.
so dear kontol, i only ate this. a Sundae Brownie. for just $5.90.
oh just tell me that im going to miss this crazy and loud bunch yet again. =(
i wonder if the people that im going to work with in a new environment will be like them.
