welcome little tetty!

wet morning on a friday. poor kids, they have to battle with the rain over their PSLE listening.
it was a smooth one for me for a first. an external invigilator. no doubt it was sucha bore,
especially the waiting part in the freezing holding room, what with cold weather to add on. whats
more, my pathetic hp started to have an attitude with me. thank goodness for the colleagues and coincidentally,
my former CT was there too and we finalised the date for our next long meetup
after term 4. the only time we are totally free. my afternoon was spent over at a colleague's crib
to visit her and her newborn little one last Aug. we first saw little tetty's pictures at FB. she was
really HUGE. really. with her head circumference of 50cm and a hefty weight of 3.84kg.
somewhere around there. i was shocked. they were shocked. but we were happy that they were
both fine. my colleague cum partner in netball, hanna was indeed a strong woman. she went
through a natural birth ok. i even asked her how she managed to push all the way through, little
tetttyyy isss HUGE, need i mention again?
the funny thing was when we reached her place, we fight over carrying little tetty. had to take
queue number lah. and being the youngest wasnt a good thing either. i was made to be the last
to carry her. tsk! but i fought my way through and so i wasnt the last. heh. threatened them i
wont capture their pictures! lol.
the last time i carried a baby was the time when little nephew, haniq haikel was born. and now i
got the chance to do it again. i love it.......she smells good. she is beautiful. she is flawless. she is
just adorable. she is like a sleeping beauty. she reacted to our noise for she recognised some of us
when we always disturbed her with baby talks while she's still inside her mum's tummy. lol. but
most of the time, she would be back to sleep. tsk!
im blessed to be surrounded with beautiful colleagues with gold hearts like them.
these few are enough to get me by at school. =)
and my day did not end there. i rushed off for tuition. the thought of canceling it was really
strong but the thought of $$$ was even stronger. so despite being sleepy and tired, i managed to
drag myself. then i went off to run some errands since hari raya is in a day's time. tomorrow will
be such a rush then.
i can feel the heat already! hari raya is in the air. hee.Labels: births, colleagues
