butterflies in my stomach
updated @ 12:13 AM
oh how exciting! just like our very first date.
i IS so excited. another one in a million dates tomorrow.
so excited and nervous that it took me quite awhile deciding on what to wear tomorrow.
call me nuts but that's what im feeling right now.
it may just be another normal date but hey, it's going to be a WHOLE DAY kinda date hokay.
that's why! days like this hard to come by now. *smirks at him*
never mind that we have yet to plan the destination for tomorrow.
as long as we get to be together. eew, so cliche! but i don't care!
hmm, lemme see the last time we met was....ah! the day before the last day of school (14th Nov).
and another was kinky's 22nd which was 22nd Nov and that was it!
i remembered as that was the day i dragged him to ShengSiong to shop for last minute groceries
for my class party! the day which made me a few hundred poorer. aiseh!
i think i got to stop spending my hard-earned money on the kids like water.
this has got to stop lah dey! if not, my dream of getting married will soon diminish into thin air.
but then again (my life revolves so much with "but"), they truly deserved those treatments.
their hard work and lack of tender loving care at home. you'll cry to hear their true stories.
their life story. tears welled in my eyes upon hearing the truth that i swear i should stop
whining about the little things in life.
*shoots myself down*

alright, stop wailing! im supposed to be on a happy mode right now.
gawd, how i miss him so. ok, let's leave all the mushy stuff till tomorrow.

so yesterday was my first to attend a chinese wedding at Traders Hotel.
it was just like any other chinese weddings that i would watch on chinese dramas,
what with the cocktail in round tables, friends and relatives showering the bride and groom with
petals upon their arrival, the toast with that long ya...mmm...seennggg, speech, videoclips of
their journey and to end it all with the couple going to each and every table to say their
appreciation and group photo.

only one thing that i was ignorant about. the red packet.
thank gawd for Emmeline who suddenly remembered about my first to a chinese wedding that
she had the sudden urge to ask about the amount i gave.
i was taken aback though with the awkward question since i thought the amount would be out of sincerity what!
i only know the difference between our Malay and their wedding was the vast difference in the amount we gave to the newly weds.
but never did i know that the vast difference was reaaaalllly HUGE.
i was laughing at myself in the car for being so selenge....and they laughed too. how nice!
never mind! something new that i had learnt. lol!

anyway, it was Lay Hwa's wedding but we were having a hell of fun taking pictures of ourselves happily.
we were madly happy. i was indeed truly happy. that i smile oh so wide in every picture. -_-
you see, the time stated in the invitation card was 7.00pm - Cocktail and 7.30pm - Dinner.
we reached at 7 exactly. but heck, not many were present at that time.
and guess what, the dinner started at 8.30pm. -_-
you never knew how freaking famished i was!

i guess this was one of the many occasions that we were able to dress up and captured those happy moments together.
just being away from the usual school day which was a total dread for us.
but with crazy colleagues like them, school is always fun! =)

1. my heart-warming and motherly mentor!
2. my ex-teacher and my lil bro's ex-teacher too! how weird! hee.

1. the young ones in school.
2. mrs adnan, my ex-teacher literally forced them to take picture together. lol!

that one lil' kid at the back not included in the frame lah!

hafiza and yourstruly left just minutes before the dinner ended at 1030pm.
we had our curfews. her fiance fetched her but where did i go?
i hailed a cab and made my way down to baby's workplace. haha.
just so we could go home together. =)

so are you happy that im finally dropping by your workplace, hunny bunny?
-_-

and i know words of praise don't come by easily from me but i must say this and i know you
are truly kembang when i say this..

you looked suave and awesomely hot, baby! =)

ok, im having goosebumps right now.

off to bed. toodles!
