it's been two weeks already and here i am about to update the overdue entry.
i've been procrastinating and now i felt lazy already. too many things yet too little time.
im just praying hard that i'll get over this tide. i know it's going to be over soon enough.
the month of may is here already and the next thing you know it'll be june already. fast huh?
living in singapore is just so hard. everybody is chasing over time. busy working here and there,
trying to earn as much money as they could to survive in this little busy country. i wonder
where's the talk about living a healthy and balanced lifestyle aye? -_-
anyway......
It was indeed a very taxing day for all of us where work is at the back of our mind but despite that, everyone definitely took the effort and time to do our best no matter what. And it was pleasing to see that. =) Will definitely miss the whole experience and moments shared from day 1 till now. From being so paiseh and malu-malu during photoshoot, fittings, catwalks, rehearsal to the grand actual day of the competition. Cheers to our friendship, dear lovely couples! =)
that friday, i packed up all my stuffs into my bag earlier than usual. cleared some of the
markings since i know i won't even have the energy left to do so during the weekend. the
colleagues were surprised to see me leaving in a rush as early as 2.30pm and all i could give
them was a sneaky smile. haha.
we had our dinner with Sizzy and Muhd at Arnolds before we headed for our first rehearsal
at the Rouge Lab over at Kaki-kaki, Malay Village. we were taken aback at first as we all
envisioned the audience will be watching us up on the stage. a big place. but we were wrong and
we just made do with it. the extreme hot weather was the major problem that night. spotlights
everywhere and we were perspiring so badly, what with the ladies having to wear high heels.
phew! we could imagine how it was going to be like the next day in the evening when all the
supporters and others will be coming over to see all of us. poor them! i was only worried about
my lil' nephew who will be coming with my eldest sis and BIL. confirm melalak punye!
we ended the rehearsal pretty late and my whole body and leg were aching already. took a quick
shower and crashed into bed immediately. waduh!
and just look at our faces the next morning. for a mere 4 hours of sleep.
next,
the ladies did their makeup first while the poor guys had to wait outside for so long .
they either read the newspaper, chit-chat, stare at the wall, camwhoring or most of of the time SLEEP.
even i, myself slept while Kak Hani, my mak andam, was doing makeup for me.
haha, too shiok already lah.

at first, it was really nerve-wrecking when only the ladies had to start their catwalk first
ALONE. so if i tripped and fell, nobody will pick me up. i will have to pick myself up. tsk!
thankfully, nothing embarrassing had happened especially when babyku gave me his
encouraging and minyang smile before the ladies had to start the show. =)
after a few tries, we got the hang of it and we ladies were less nervous. goody!
it truly helped when i saw my siblings, maternal relatives and my lovely couple, haidayu for
coming early to show their sincerest support. how can i not love you lots aye?
just when i saw them, the heart beat kinda slowed down and the smile came naturally.
no more trembling! haha. the power of support from your loved ones. really!
ok, let's chop chop and moved on to the grand show. all's well despite a few glitches here and
there. lol! babyku, it's ok! =)
we felt more relaxed after the grand catwalk. =)
see, even babyku did not feel nervous anymore. wide smile aye. da tak mengigil, hor? ;)
till this moment, i still could not believe we're in this together. *hugs*

and guess what?! Sizzy&Muhd and Yus&Su....their wedding will fall on the same date lah! ohoh!
this was the trail of my outfit that constantly kept me worry all the time.
but alhamdulilah, it worked very well with my shoes and so, nothing happened! =)

the rest of the maternal relatives had to leave just when the actual show had started since they had
other activities to attend to. nonetheless, i was really grateful to see the aunties, uncles, elder
cousins and even nenek ku waving at us, especially Cik Udin giving us that sneaky smile. hmmpf!
if not for the spoilt washing machine, both mum and dad would already be there for us. =(
and i SO wanna see dearest dad's reaction upon seeing us. ahahahaaaa...
thank you so much sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews for coming all the way from the West and East just to support me and zul. despite not having the best of seats, you still
withstand everything to give us your sincerest support. along and BIL for chasing after the
active Lil' Hanig who was running all over the place. i truly understand how hard it was taking
care of an extreme active toddler like Lil' Haniq. all of you made me realise the importance of
family support and the big difference made for that. thank you. =)

hhaha, idayu heed my advice to bring a fan and whatsnot to prepare for the worst condition
once they reached. lol! lawa pulak tu kipas dia! bukan main lagi!
but pity hairul for dressing up so nice that night that he had to bear with the extreme hot

Hafiz not abling to come that night, you still made yourself to be there by bike alone over long
and tiring ride from the west. you even took all the effort to capture our moments. you're such a
sweetheart yani, do you know that? =) hairul too...in that smart outfit of yours, you still bother to be upfront ignoring the crowds just so you could capture us beautifully at the right timing.
now now, you took pictures for all of us but we had forgotten to take picture with you. tsk! and
idayu, thank you for always being the early one as always. im sure hairul had no choice but to be
early as well. hee. thank you for being there all the time and getting them to have supper after
that. =) and of course, not forgetting ayu and adib...i know you guys and yani are in the midst of
having exams and assignments. you still made it just for us. what with adib giving hilmi that
cheeky look, trying to tell him something while we walked down the aisle. ahhaha.
all of you are the best, can? how can we repay you, tell me? *hugs*
and i would like to thank my favourite Slackers Inc. members. my all time favourite slackers
ever since our poly days. sadly, they left upon seeing the overwhelming crowd and the hothothot
weather. nevertheless, we are grateful for your presence. Devi had just came back from abroad
only for a short while and she was sweet enough to drop by to see us. =)

Thank YOU! =) We love all your unique and exclusive outfits. Even our family and friends commented on how much they love your new outfits especially, look so grand. =)

Abg Zan from PinholeFoto for just giving us that smile and ques while taking pictures of us on the runway definitely made us less nervous. He has always been cheery and friendly photograher who did not make us feel stiff and awkward! And of course to all the rest who made this event successful. =)

no doubt you've always been there for me through thick and thin all these years, even though
not all the time. i was surprised too when you readily agree to join this comp with me for i
thought you are not the type of person who will be keen in this. i was wrong. =) thankfully, we
decided to be a part of this comp together. we grew even closer together and learnt more about
each other's weakness and strengths. we just need to understand and compromise each other
more. we can do it! =)
another good thing about this event, we learnt how hard it is to get married. so many things to
think about. everything must be prepared. not only for the wedding itself but also the aftermath. how true. for sure, we're going to take it slow. taking one day at a time.
for now, we are blessed, when this relationship of ours has been made official. alhamdulilah. =)
