mr vainity pot!
now, who says that women are the only vainity pots around aye?
any-o-how, the date went pretty smooth yesterday and im lovin' every bits of it. =)
we started off with ikea as our first stop as i was meaning to explore the whole of ikea to see
what i needed for my workstation and of course, my wonderful room.
hmm, ok i needed this...that...oh this one too! and those!
viola! i made one short list to make another trip down to ikea next month.
well, you don't expect me to carry all of those bulky items on a bike, do you?
*rolls eyes*
oh we bumped into kinky's eldest sis and bro-in-law too!
they were browsing for new bed for their kids or perhaps their own. ahem! newly-wed mah! lol!
and i did not know wassup with babyku and his new found love for this pathetic and rather cute pose.
no, the effect will be good if captured on my own!

afterwhich, we head down to vivocity for his craving for Twilight and Body of Lies.
his thirst for reading died long before he knew it. to my surprise, he decided to take up
reading as his hobby once again. and i hope it's for long.
as his girlfriend, i couldnt be prouder. =) it's truly rare wokay.
it all started when we saw the trailer of Twilight weeks ago and he pretty much caught by it.
amazingly, by the actor who acted in it - Taylor Lautner. *rolls eyes*
this boy of mine is turning gay, i tell you.
since Twilight will only be screened on the 18th of next month, that spoilt boy of mine decided to
throw tantrums and just be irritating as he will always be. nak, nak tengok skarang jugak!
so, what did i do to overcome that little uncalled obstacle of ours?
"there's Twilight book, you know?" i said with zero hope of him wanting to get the book instead.
hahahha, i know im bad without having so much faith in him for that.
i was amazed by his enthusiastic response. a positive one indeed. =)
he couldn't wait for the movie to be released on the 18th and so,
we went to PageOne in hope to find his love. he was just like a little boy who very much
wanted a toy, searching at every corner intently. of course, an impatient boy he will always be,
i was there not to be a baby panda who will stick around and follow him wherever he went, but
to join in for the search as well. lol! eventually, he was pretty much dissapointed for failing to find the book.
it was nowhere in sight. we gave up and asked one of the staff.
all the more his spirit was dampened when the staff said that the book was out of stock and the
new stock will only arrived in two weeks' time.
by then, the movie will be released. hahahaha....
i'd never seen this side of him where he will never give up on the things that he truly wants.
at least not for books. hmm, i seemed to be attracted by this side of him. =)
so, we looked for other bookshops in vivocity. alas, we went to harbourfront.
scanning through the directory map and blinkblink! there were three book stores.
luck was on our side and from afar, he found his love. yes, from afar, that book must have had
a supernatural power to call him from a distance. he practically ran towards it.
little did he realise that he was still holding my hand and not letting go when he ran for it.
poor me, i had to run together with him as well. -_-
this, i did not exagerate but truth enough, that truly happened. that moment.
he's a child like that. and all the more i love him that way. acting cute! yakdish!
tell me, how can we ever grow up maturedly?
of course, i did not want to lose out to him. that book just had to call my name ohso loudly yesterday.
as much as im not that keen on reading despite my profession, a good read like that i wouldn't
resist myself to call my own.
now, im almost done with the book and i SO want babyku to do the list for me. haha.
huh! you nak me mati ah ni?
and yea, that's the kind of respond that i got.

and so, marina barrage to end the beautiful night.
oohed, awwed and ahhed at the majestic dam and reservoir, what with fantastic view of the
Singapore skyscraper and the flyer too! how gorgeous. lol!
of course, our cameras did not do justice for every moments captured at night. bummer!
babyku, tell me im the most romantic girlfriend ever!
