let's learn about colours, shall we?
our favourite colour.
black portrays mysterious, formal, depressing, serious and deadly.
are we?
i don't think so. haha.
well, apart from all those weary faces of ours.
i remembered we took this shot as it was our black coincidence day and also, our mad rush thursday.
next colour - white.
it was our first saturday in school.
just because we need to mark our p2 maths test book so we can go through the next monday.
time is always precious in this profession.
and maths teacher always find it hard to find time for
syllabus.going.through.corrections.mark.revision.chase.pupils.for.corrections.
and.homeworks.and.not.forgetting.parent's.signature.lastly.filing.time!
sigh!
as a result, we only have this new cereal that we love to boost up our energy for the whole day.
yes, last year, we only had those plain green packets biscuits for breakfast, lunch and tea break.
this year, we upgrade to Granula Bites from the famous Quaker. LOL.
teachers out there, you must try this ok! =) very nice!
there are other kinds of Quaker too. go shop for them at your nearest supermarket!

when marking made me a vainity pot.
when marking made her listen to Alvin and the Chipmunks song.
when marking made me resort to snapping with a dustbin as the background. how beautiful!
the stack of books that made us go crazy but it was a breeze marking them.
only p2 what! heh.
but marking my p5 pupils' work?

so i dragged che cher tatini to camwhore with me.
even when she's printing worksheet, i made her stop for awhile.
in the end, she made me do the jumping shot which of course, did not turn out well.
well, at least we did try. kudos for trying! lol.
so what does white represent?
clean.young.simple.friendly.approachable.
so are we all of the above? LOL.
next colour - green.
we did not expect to wear the same colour yet again.
we even blend with the maths test book.
marking is really tiring wokay!
so, green expresses alive, calming, refreshing, positive and expressive. =)
i expressed my stress through taking nonsensical pictures.
che cher tatini expressed her stress through not combing her hair to school and counting the few dolars left in her wallet.
haha.
our shared table alone isn't enough to accomodate all these books, mahjong paper and manipulative.

guess what? not even a single marker can be used.

next colour - purple.
our last saturday. =(
we had liu ying, PGDE Chinese Language trainee to be with us this time. =)
we really admire her strong patience in handling her problematic kids and determination in trying hard to speak English.
she's a mother and i always look upon married teachers especially pregnant teachers.
i was awed by their will and energy to strive on...
despite having a family to take care at home,
despite being home late almost everyday,
despite having little time spent with their children.
who thinks that teachers work from 7-1pm or 1-7pm, please raise your hand!
let me enlighten you abit...it's NOT.
but believe it or not, we love our profession. how irony!
purple?
it means romantic, royal, expressive, sophisticated and substance.
LOL.
i have the messiest table among the six of us.

lastly, the school sports carnival.
this time, we planned on the colour of our top as we need to wear the same colour as our house.

what a small world! My old friend, Nurul Ain from Kranji Sec is her close friend.
They're from Ngee Ann Poly - Early Childhood.
Apparently, she also knows one of my AG Babez, Hanna (SNO).
not only that, my old pri sch friend, Raba'a is her friend too. Both attending Shuqun Sec Sch.
oh well, we're living in a small red dot on the world map afterall. =)
