the visit to ITE College East yesterday was definitely an eye opener. a fruitful one indeed.
the courses offered were much more interesting and further prepare the students for their future career.
it's all about hands-on now. better exposure to what the real world has to offer.
if only the new courses were already implemented during my time...sigh!

during the tour, yaya and i were reminiscing our own polytechnic days.
the environment and design of ITE now was almost similar to polytechnic.
but i must say that ITE is definitely much better.
if i were a student of ITE, im definitely the one who would lepak till late in school.
*unlike NIE...READ: BORING..like what is there to see?*
the facilities rock yo!
food court was heaven. it was almost like shopping centre. we could play pool! and of course, it was huge. like totally!
aahh..just remembered those days when my slackers inc. and i had to go through our in-school attachment. miss those days.
if my future child opt to go for ITE, i would definitely support him.
not just because of how advanced ITE has become now,
it's how individual's needs and talent is being developed through hands-on experience.
i believe we learn better through experience. not just by the books.
i couldn't agree more with what the speaker had said during the lecture.
it's time we should all change our perception and attitude towards ITE.
not all ITE students are perceived as hopeless.
they just need to look deeper into their own talent and ability with much guidance from us, teachers to lead them to shine.
even some of my cousins are from ITE and no doubt that i can see some good changes in them.
be it academic or attitude.
one of them had mentioned before to always be in the positive crowd in order to suceed. true enough.
no doubt it's a long route towards university.
but learning never stop just there. it's a lifelong journey.
during my polytechnic days, i've classmates who were from ITE.
i was totally admired and driven by their determination in achieving their goals despite their age
since they had to go through ITE first before coming to polytechnic.
of course, they worked really hard in order to qualify for the university after that.
so learn for as long as you can people!
ok before i can go on and on...

after the visit, yaya and i decided to bid farewell to our little island for awhile.

oh well, since Changi was just next station away from Expo, we decided to visit T3.
nyehnyeh! we were not going away. how i WISH i COULD. duh!

and yeah, she's definitely going away again for holiday soon. hmmpz!

the transition.

the policeman might think we're crazy!

she's a stalker, i tell you!
she's trying to get a close-up of that French man just so she could confirm that indeed he's speaking in French.

they offered to take a picture with us.
they thought we're tourist. really!

like finally, we found Popeye! yumyum!

what a trip! =)Labels: girlfriends, random
