i so couldn't believe that this year, babyku wasn't the first to wish me at the stroke of midnight. instead, it was julizza unexpectedly to be the first to wish me at exactly 12am. followed by babyku at the next minute. i so could imagine that they had their texts ready, just waiting to push that button away! LOL. of course, kucing parsi ku and buddy never failed to be the next in queue. iloveyou.

hope i didn't miss out anyone. but no matter what, i truly appreciate you all for always remembering this day of mine. =) muaax!

his initial starter plan was backfired when mummy told him that blowing out the candles was a sin! hilarious! haha. he sent a cake and food to home while i was having tuition. so he wanted mummy to get ready the cake with lighted candles and surprise me once i reached the doorstep after tuition.
nevertheless, i really appreciate the thought and effort, love. =)

we went to Soup & Satay Cafe at this Jalan Jurong Kechil (i think so) which he went to with his yayi and pak busu last time.
the menu was extremely huge, i tell you! for the first time in my entire life, i've never seen that kind of size for a simple menu. W.O.W. the food was great. oreo milkshake was love.
yes i know. i was being such a bummer for ordering a simple chakway rojak. i wasn't that hungry and i was too scared to be ambitious to order a hearty meal. i'm the sort of person who finds it hard to finish my food now. but lemme tell you, that simple looking chakway rojak was totally finger-licking good yaw! really, i swear! oops, wait i can't swear but i can promise you! ;)
his little chicken chop was freaking expensive ok. i was like expecting the chicken chop to be huge according to the price stated on the menu. but heck, it turned out to be THAT. shocked.
so next, where did we go?

we had to walk to reach at the end. see that? he wanted to just vroom vroom our way there but then again, he just wanted to be safe. haha.
when was the last time we watched sunset? i remembered it was during chalet with my poly mates in 2005. wah, that long...

but hey, we did see a real monkey of course! there were quite a bunch of them wandering around, be it on the floor looking for food or swinging from trees to trees in the carpark fooling around. LOL!

what a good place to just spend the weekend with your family. there's a playground for the kids and for those who just need to sweat burn those fats away, either jog through the beautiful pathway while enjoying the magnificent scenery, or make use of the availability of the exercise equipments there. haha.
by then (when im not smiling in the pic), the digi cam went flat. aarrgh!
never say die, i tried to on and off the digi cam. thankfully, i managed to capture the last shot of the sunset. the mixture of the colour of the sky was just oh so beautiful. im not good at words but by the look of it, it's just so WOW that day despite the hotness.
we went off earlier (by 7 plus) just so we could drop by Gombak to get satay for the family, and i could get home to cut the cake with the family by 9pm.
